Twelve Weeks to Christmas

My daughter, who has the unfortunate lot in life to have been born the week before Christmas, proudly exclaimed last night that it was her birthday in 11 weeks time. I say proudly, because she figured the maths herself, something I’m not sure I’d have been able to do at 5 and three quarters. It doesn’t take a mathematical whizard therefore to deduce that it must be twelve weeks to Christmas.
