Full Complement of Staff
Having been snowed under (excuse the pun) yesterday, this is just a quick note to say that today we are, once again, a full complement of staff. Meaning I can retract those extra six arms I grew when manning the office single handed (I’m talking myself up a bit, as Antony (our Property Manager) requires credit too for taking on additional workload in his office in Portsoy ).
My daughter would be astounded to know I morped into an octopus yesterday, given I am quite often heard to say (generally when I’m in the kitchen after the sixth request to do something beyond my immediate means) ‘am I an octopus’?
Thanks to everyone for their understanding. It was great to help out the clients I could yesterday, two of whom were organising surprises which I always get childishly excited over. Lots of covert secret squirrelness goes on, with big notes everywhere in red with ’secret’ stamped over all documents, very M16.
People often come to us asking for advice on where to go and what to do for a surprise family celebration. Normally the major milestones ie 40th, 50th, 60th & 70th birthdays. There’s such a range of large self catering properties to choose from, getting bigger by the day as more property owners choose to join our club, like this Victorian holiday house in Argyllshire.
Anyway, I gaze outside with mixed emotions at the disappearing snow. On the one hand, it creates such a serene landscape, I don’t want it to go. On the other hand I’m not really sure the octopus look becomes me.
