Spring into action with an Easter break
On my walk to work this week, I noticed a palpable ‘it’s nearly spring’ feeling permeating the air from every hedgerow and tree branch as the birds seemed to sing just that much louder and just that teeny bit livelier than they had since .. well, I can’t remember. Winter this year, for me, was a blur.
So with a spring in my step, I make my journey through two fields where sheep have been put to pasture, knowledgeably sidestepping the hidden and lethal badger sets, across a [very] muddy track, over a lively brook, past a pond, up a hill lined by a rambling wall of ancient heritage – until I arrive (slightly panting) to the smell of freshly made coffee, at the hub of the large holiday house rental experts, Scotts Castle Holidays.
