Wake up to “WakeScot” 2009
On the Saturday and Sunday of 1st and 2nd August 2009, at Lochearnhead in Central Scotland, WakeScot 2009 is taking place. This is Scotland’s leading wakeboarding event; an opportunity for both riders and spectators from across the country and beyond to visit one of the best water sport locations in the UK.
What’s more this event is FREE for all spectators!
The popularity of wakeboarding today has displaced water skiing, as wakeboarding is seen as hip and trendy and is the equivalent to snowboarding and skateboarding on the water. An event like this is going to appeal to the younger generation and if you are on a family holiday in Scotland and you have teenagers with you who may have expressed some signs of boredom – this is the event for them.
This event happens every year on the first Saturday of August and if you have not planned for this year, then forward planning for next year could start today.
Near Aberfoyle in the Trossachs is an excellent large holiday house sleeping up to 18 adults and 2 children; suitable for house parties, group accommodation and family holidays in Scotland. The owners of this charming country holiday home are offering holidays in July and August 2010 at this year’s prices.
Based on 18 people, you could rent this charming Scottish holiday house for as little as £194 per person per week in high season.
A great value Scottish holiday house in an area with lots of water based activities for all the family.
