Glasgow is a must see destination in 2012
The New York Times in a recent report included Glasgow within their “must-see” destinations for 2012, which is a big boost for the city. However, it wrongly stated that the city had a “shiny new harbour” when it does not. Glasgow Harbour is the name of the area but it does not contain an actual harbour. Whilst this was an oversight, the attractions of Glasgow are legend, with great museums, shopping, nightlife, dining, music and sport, being amongst the best in the UK.
For those wishing to see the “must-see” destination of Glasgow, then staying in the nearby countryside is a great way to dip in and out of Glasgow, whilst enjoying more peaceful surroundings. 23 miles from Glasgow is the Historic Medieval Castle, which sleeps up to 12 adults or slightly further at 38 miles near Biggar there is the Luxury Country House, which sleeps up to 16 adults. Great accommodation and great access to Glasgow! Find out more at Scotts Castle Holidays today?
